favorite london neighborhoods
HYDE PARK. The most beautiful park in all of London.
SHOREDITCH. My absolute favorite hipster, grungy neighborhood in all of London. Everyone who lives in Shoreitch has the BEST fashion. So much vintage shops, coffee shops, and markets (my favorite!!!) All of the street art all over the streets. Some of the best coffee and food you will find in the whole city.
NOTTING HILL. The absolute cutest neighborhood. So many quaint, colorful houses to explore and take photos of. Portobello Market is located in the heart of Notting Hill. They have incredible food, the most interesting trinkets, and amazing vintage.
FAVORITE THINGS TO DO
THE VINTAGE MARKET
The most epic vintage market takes place underground in Shoreditch Thursday-Sunday. On your way, you can walk along the main street (Brick Lane) to see a lot of really other awesome vintage shops too!
Tate Modern
If art isn't your thing, maybe this isn't for you! But for me, I love a good modern art museum. Tate was so good with some incredible artists' work on display. And it's free admission too!
London Bridge
Sing the song if you want to. I got to see the bridge from a hop on hop off bus (I never do them but it was worth it) and I really loved seeing London from this view. It's a must for your first time.

york, england
If you have the time, you should 100% take a day or two and head to over to York. York is about a 2 hour train ride from London's big train station, Kings cross. Depending on how much time you book in advance & the time of the year, round trip tickets range anywhere form 18-50 pounds. York was the quaintest little city. It was beautiful and filled with so much history. York is surrounded by 13th Century Roman walls that were built to keep intruders out. There is an area of town called "The Shambles" that people refer to as Diagon Alley from Harry Potter. I really loved York.
